What the backend does now

1. Stores donor details
The database saves donor name, email, phone, purpose, amount, and status.
2. Creates a transaction reference
Each donation gets its own unique reference for tracking and verification.
3. Shows results in admin
You can review all donation attempts inside the REI admin panel.
4. Prepares for live launch
The same structure can move from demo to sandbox and then live checkout.

Before going live

Add Flutterwave test keys
Start with test keys and confirm your callback page works.
Verify successful payments
Only mark a donation successful after backend verification.
Set a public callback URL
Use your final domain for production so redirects work cleanly.
Then switch to live mode
Once all tests pass, swap test keys for live keys carefully.
